CONVERSION

COTSWOLDS

Castellum bought some derelict barns dating back to 1880, with planning permission to create a single dwelling. We managed to gain consent to extend both barns and then split the planning permission to create two dwellings.

The Granary (the original threshing barn) became a large family home of 5,500 sq ft with garaging, and this one, The Old Grain Store was converted into an 1,800 sq ft single storey stone dwelling.

Both properties are a successful blend of old and new and have been restored and extended to a high standard by Castellum’s stone masons and joiners. The interior design and landscaping of this 50 week project was managed in house and the larger of the two properties was sold prior to going to market, with this one selling within days of being advertised.
