Mill Farm, Cirencester

Castellum were employed by a long standing client to build the phased development of a series of agricultural buildings along with the full refurbishment and extension of an existing farmhouse. The entire site was not only in the Cotswold AONB but was also Listed Grade 2 and hence involved the consideration and careful use of both traditional materials and conservation building techniques. The majority of the works were carried out by ‘in house’ employees including stone masons and highly skilled joiners.

In total the project included approximately 20,000 square foot of conversion , refurbishment and basement works and the completed site included three dwellings with a total value of £8million.

Castellum have since carried out several more projects for the same client both in the Cotswolds and in London.
